WASHINGTON(May 6, 2017): Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States (US) Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry called on US National Security Advisor Lieutenant General H.R. McMaster on Friday.
Pak-US ties, restoration of peace in Afghanistan, border issues and matters of mutual interests came under discussion during the meeting. Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry said that peace in Afghanistan was directly linked with peace in its neighboring countries. He said that peace in Afghanistan is the top priority of Pakistan. Chaudhry said that they could not reap the fruits of war against terrorism, without durable peace in Afghanistan.
